Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Bhasuri Inn, I experienced a blend of tradition and modern hospitality in Guruvayur. The hotel is conveniently located just a five-minute walk from the temple, making it accessible for daily visits. While the room had some useful amenities like air conditioning and flat-screen TV, I encountered several challenges that affected my overall comfort. The bathroom door was problematic, requiring unnecessary effort to secure, and there was an unpleasant smell from the broken basin. A lack of reliable hot water was an inconvenience, especially given the low occupancy during my visit. Though the hotel offers decent room service, my dining experience was only satisfactory, with the dinner menu lacking the expected local flavor. While Bhasuri Inn manages to cover the essentials, value seekers may want to consider other nearby properties that offer comparable rates and facilities. Ultimately, while there are perks in terms of location, it may not wholly justify the cost.
